Lucia Lorente – Off Counsel Germany – Graduated from the National University of Colombia and Law Degree from the University of Alicante in Spain. Has a degree in” Specialist legal advice on the information society ” of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. Obtained her LL.M. (Master in Law ) in “German and European Law and Legal Practice” at Humboldt University of Berlin with emphasis on corporate and commercial law. Her thesis was awarded the prize of magister Alumni Society and Friends of the Law Faculty of the Humboldt University. Recently successfully finished a postgraduate degree in Insurance Law in Germany. She is an active member of the Bar Association of Madrid and the Bar Association of Berlin, Germany ( Rechtsanwaltskammer Berlin), where she works for the law firm ” Gansel Rechtsanwälte ” (www.gansel-rechtsanwaelte.de/mitarbeiter) since 2008. She works with an emphasis in the areas of real estate law finance and banking law, and insurance law, and also advises clients on transnational issues.
